2/4/2017 3 Comments ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE![]() ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE The good old Bible has this as one of the teachings of Jesus. During his time on earth Jesus taught many critical principles of life. It is however, disturbing to note that many people ignore these teachings much to their peril. I have personally experienced the principle of asking and it has proven to be very effective in my life. I actually discovered that people perish because they are afraid to ask or feel so ashamed of disclosing their crisis or need. Imagine that you had a boil in a very sensitive part of your body and thus you cannot sit without experiencing excruciating pain, guilt and shame. However, you feel so ashamed to disclose this fact to others and you force yourself to sit and risk experiencing this pain. If on the other hand you disclose your condition, other people may end up offering you special treatment and cushions to make sure you are comfortable. FEAR AND HUMAN ANGELS Fear of asking has often resulted in people turning into thieves. They would rather take without asking and end up destroying relationships. I have discovered that we have human angels living among us, waiting to rescue us each time we ask. Have you ever noticed how some people just appear at the right time to provide for your needs? ACT ON YOUR FAITH In a way we ask God but we do not express our needs to others. But some of our needs require human intervention so our faith needs action. So many times I have prayed over a need and next moment when I just mention my needs to someone, even in passing, I have been surprised by their reaction. It’s as if the universe was just waiting for me to break the fear and shame for it to start pouring provisions on to my lap. I believe in miracles because I have seen them happening in my life at that point when I have expressed desperation or a serious need – a human angel appears to lift me from my crisis. So usually I tell people that God is my Provider and I will never lack and this is true as many people are just waiting for an opportunity to serve me. Some time back I listened to a Pastor preaching about how angels are sent to deliver and provide for our needs. At that time, I thought these were not physical beings and wondered how they would accomplish the task except in a dream. But as I started gradually expressing my needs, I found that the answers came faster than when I just prayed and kept to myself. I activated human angels to save me and come to my rescue. Do you have a need? What is it that you need help with? Ask and you shall receive because your human angel is waiting. Contact Me.

This is so true Mosline. I actually experienced this recently. Lets activate our human angels in times of need. February was proving to be hard for me and i didn't have groceries and fuel to go to work when i shared my story with my sister in Christ. I wasnt expecting anything from her but i thot it could lighten the burden off my shoulder and guess what? The following day she phoned me and asked if I was getting into town and if so, i could pass by her office. I told her i was actually in town so i passed by and to my surprise she had packed groceries for me. kkkk zvanga zvisi mumba zvacho was there in the parcel and on top of that money for fuel. so God can connect us with our human angels if we open up.

I find this to be difficult to understand. Yes asking God is very easy but humans! How do I know who to go to and ask for what I need? I fear people going around talking about my lack of money, provisions etc. My experience has revealed to me that people like helping those that can help them back. When I was gainfully employed, I had a lot of people to ask from but when I got laid off I virtually have no one to ask from because most people/friends/relatives have retreated away from me so I feel to send them messages or knock on their door is really pushing it. Who do I ask for help?

Hello Mary, you have just confirmed some of the points I have raised in the article. Firstly, you are afraid to ask because of what people might think. For sure , this fear keeps us caged and yet if we know that , fear in itself is a spirit that is meant to keep us bound and in lack, we can pray ourselves out of it. If we know that It does not really matter what others think ( they will never stop thinking negatively about you even when you are employed) , then we can start affirming ourselves . Here you are not knocking on all kinds of doors but you are opening up in situations or platforms where you feel comfortable enough to do so , like you have just done. Were you not afraid to express yourself the way you just did ? You felt comfortable that this is a suitable platform regardless of who is reading the blog. The second aspect is that you feel that the only people you can open up to are those related or connected to you in some way , or those you have helped before. However, you are not limited or supposed to share with that group either- else you will feel embarrassed and suspect they are withdrawing ( even though you may be the one withdrawing yourself as you feel you no longer have something to offer) . Try sharing with strangers or those you have not helped before and see if that feeling comes. Sometimes we limit ourselves because we paint everyone with the same brush , or we project our insecurity on others and conclude before we even try. All this is our mechanism to protect ourselves from what we perceive as embarrassing. And yet, if we look at reality, each of us has our unique needs and for some it's financial, for others emotional, pschological, physical etc. So it does not follow that a financial need is more embarrassing to express than an emotional need. So we should learn to express our needs to others as we are led by the spirit , with wisdom and not fear and then let God do the rest. See Netsai's testimony above.
